Destination Selection Control
Destination Selection Control - Intelligent elevator control system
Destination Selection Control is a highly intelligent control system where passengers select their destination floor at a key pad terminal before entering the elevator. In a conventional elevator, journeys are often slowed down and interrupted by passengers getting in and out as new calls are received, Destination Selection Control reduces the effect of this by directing each passenger to the fastest lift for each journey.
Additional functions can also be incorporated, including pre programmed journeys using a swipe card or numeric PIN code, corporate branding on the touch screen terminal graphics and VIP/emergency call overrides to gain immediate access to an elevator.
The Destination Selection Control system can be applied to both new build and existing lift groups, allowing additional passenger carrying capacity and reduced waiting/journey times without any major engineering work to the building.
